Oh, Future why do you plague my mind?
You know I have nothing else to find!
My race has already begun, and my course has been set.
The Prize, which is my Savior, is what I will get.
Why tempt me with thoughts of a bride?
Oh, the numerous times you've tried.
She is important, I agree.
But she is not a sidetrack to me.
She is part of the race, which I must run.

Her beauty and wisdom none will compare,
She will never be able lose my stare!

And her love for our family will be one sight you must see.

The song of obedience is what we will sing.
