Stone to Flesh

A heart of stone I have made,
Heavy and destined for earth’s grave.
My debt to God will be paid,
So I slowly enter the dark cave.
A fiery hell awaits my soul,
I have lost all of my hope.
I feel the heat of the fiery coals,
I have finally reached the end of Life’s rope.
A heart of stone is what I am,
I cry out for a helping hand.
Yahweh has provided a lamb,
His blood covering me and turning the stone into sand.
My heart is flesh, it is new!
God my heart belongs and is made for you!
